Known Associates From HB Headline Red Rocks
Back in August, I was fortunate enough to fly out to Denver, CO as a guest of Dirty Heads for their sold out headlining show at the
legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The venue has been around since 1906, but really only started to be the iconic concert venue
that it is since about 1964 when The Beatles played there on their first tour as part of the British Invasion. Surprisingly, Red Rocks
was the only venue that they didn’t sell out on that tour.
I had never been to Red Rocks, but had been dying to see a concert there since U2’s live concert film, Under A Blood Red Sky,
a video that was practically on loop in my parents VCR throughout most of my high school years.
I want to thank Jared, Duddy, Matt, John, David, über-managers Cheez and Braden for taking care of my crew and I, and having
us be a part of a special night for the band that was full of surprise performances and special guests. Pretty sure a DVD of the
show is forthcoming. But for now, here is their new video for Sound Of Change from that night’s performance.
